Brampton flower city Rotary club held its Inaugural Walkathon in South Brampton August 10th 2008. Many participants and their families took part in the event and raised money for the clubs School Breakfast Program. All funds raised today will go toward supporting the many ongoing programs and club activities. We are looking forward next year’s event. For those of you out there who missed out on the fun, we are happy to invite you to our next walkathon in 2009. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide elementary school students with a healthy breakfast. You can help us raise funds by asking your family, friends, co-workers, neighbours and others to sponsor you for our next walk occurring in the spring of 2009. Invite a friend or two to join you in walking and raising money or recruit others to form a team. Attending the walkathon is an easy way to help us reach our goals.
